Heavy Rain Watch Area: Canterbury north of Amberley, including the Kaikoura District Forecast: A period of heavy rain and accumulations may approach warning criteria. Note, heavy snow is possible above about 1000 metres, but there is a chance of heavy falls to lower levels.
