In Southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.

Neosho River near Erie affecting Neosho County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Erie. * WHEN...From this morning to early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, The intersection of Main Street and just south of 7th Street becomes flooded to a depth of near 10 inches for a distance of 10 to 15 yards. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 26.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 35.6 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 29.0 feet. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
