Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 5 at 11:33PM EDT until June 6 at 1:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Southeast Harford County. * WHEN...From 8 AM to 1 PM EDT Thursday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, water begins to go over the bulkhead at the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin in multiple locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Havre de Grace is at 10:06 AM and 10:55 PM. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

In northern Maryland, Harford. * WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1057 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. The heaviest rainfall has ended, but excess runoff will continue. The Harford County 911 Center reported several roads closed around Aberdeen and Havre De Grace. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Aberdeen... Havre De Grace... Aberdeen Proving Ground... North East... Perryman... Charlestown... Hollywood Beach... Cayots... Perryville... Carsins... - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
