Flood Watch issued April 28 at 3:39AM CDT until April 28 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington OK. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread rainfall is occurring across the watch area. Moderate rainfall will continue through the remainder of the overnight hours, with additional thunderstorm activity expected for the late morning and early afternoon. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations in or near the path include... Fort Smith... Van Buren... Poteau... Wilburton... Cedarville... Clayton... Alma... Barling... Pocola... Muldrow... Roland... Spiro... Arkoma... Mulberry... Panama... Talihina... Wister... Dyer... Hackett... Bonanza... This includes the following highways, Interstate 40 in Arkansas between mile markers 0 and 24. Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between mile markers 314 and 328. Interstate 540 between mile markers 1 and 14. Interstate 49 between mile markers 22 and 25.
