In northeast Texas, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 5 inches. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 6:38AM CDT until April 28 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of Hood, Johnson, Parker and Tarrant Counties. * WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The heavy rain has ended, but flooding of low lying and/or poor drainage areas may continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless, Haltom City, Burleson, Cleburne, Benbrook, White Settlement, Crowley, Forest Hill, Granbury, Richland Hills, Kennedale, Everman, Keene, Joshua, Alvarado and Rendon. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
