If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

Heat Advisory issued May 24 at 5:08AM CDT until May 25 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX * WHAT...Heat index values up to 112 expected. * WHERE...Bee, Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal San Patricio, and Inland San Patricio Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 7 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
